Expected behavior Screen should always look correct no matter what I'm doing.Сенсорный экран BIGTREETECH TFT35 V2.0 Распаковка, установка, заводские прошивки.
Actual behavior Screen gets scrambled. The minor manifestation of this bug is an offset and wrapped screen see below but I've also had the screen completely messed up with only a few lines of the screen updating and wrapping over themselves.
Latest TFT firmware pulled from repo as of April 5 but I've been seeing this for several versions now. Marlin version 2. I've flipped back and forth several times to verify this. I should add that this only affects the emulator screen. I've never seen it do this on the touch menus. I've been chasing this for a while.
Something happens to the board and display during long prints. The TFT24 emulated screen gets scrambpled and the X-axis TMC loses some of its settings verified with Mwhich doubles the scale on the X-axis and causes it to crash into the right side of the carriage.
This looks very much like something is overwriting memory that controls how the screen is laid out during printing. Looks like there's probably a register somewhere that determines where the upper right corner of the screen is and that is getting overwritten by something else. I've looked through the code but so far I haven't been able to identify it and since there's not really a debugging facility this could prove pretty hard to nail down. That's why I asked BigTreeTech if there were a specific set of timings that were recommended vs.
Marlin's defaults. The problem occurs in fullscreen and in emulated mode. When connected LCD displays correctly. The TFT display does not display correctly. It must restart. I get the same issue. BTT e3 mini v1. Often happens if you spin through the interface quickly. Bumping the delays does seem to help a bit but I still haven't been able to get rid of the problem entirely despite trying any number of combinations. The emulated display in the TFT24 always ends up scrambled in a print that long, using the exact same cable.

I use Eryone driver modules the amber board above, leftwhich seem to be based on some reference board, as they're the same as number of other brands. There may also be a jumper on the right assuming you're holding the module with the bottom facing you and the diagnostic holes to the right. If you have this kind, then if you hold the module with the chip and such facing you, and the potentiometer and diagnostic holes to your leftthere'll be one set of jumper pads on the right, and one set near the middle.
There may also be a jumper on the left. There are at least two brands that put the chip and such on top, or did in the recent past Watterott and BigTreeTech. Use your soldering iron to bridge this middle pair of pads together. Most of these have their three-pad jumper placed near the middle of the header like on the white module pictured abovewhere the older modules have a two-pad jumper.
Simple, right? In one variant made by Eryone the second of the two amber boards above, lower-rightthis three-pad jumper is not in the middle like usual, but instead is positioned way over near one edge where the potentiometer would normally be found, next to the three diagnostic holes, and aligned parallel to the edge of the driver module and there's a two-pad jumper on the other end next to a resistor.
In these 3-pad-jumper drivers, which pair of the jumper's pads should be shorted together technically depends on what SKR version you'll use the module on. But, let's make it simple: just solder-bridge all three pads together.
This configuration will work on all types of controller boards, regardless of brand, so long as the controller board still has a standard MS config block between the driver module's headers. If you have one of the parts-on-top driver modules mentioned earlier, but with a three pad jumper, do the same thing on that one - short all three pads together. But it leaves us hungry for more.
Nordic Visitor made visiting Iceland very easy. Since some locations were in unpopulated areas we would have found it hard to choose where to stay. NV made the whole trip very stress-free. Margret was awesome to work with. Very responsive, very helpful even once we got there. A trip we will never forget. The guest houses and hotels were awesome, and the activities were great.
Rental car was awesome and it was overall a fantastic trip. On our trip, we met a few other Americans. Told them about Nordic Visitor and they were impressed.
I found Nordic Visitor's website very user-friendly. I love that all the documents sent was super easy to just hand the concierge and the 2 excursions we booked already had our names down.
I loved the 2 excursions in the package we chose. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and I'm so glad I chose this particular trip. We booked a couple tours outside of Nordic Visitor and saw a huge difference between what you booked and what we booked ourselves. The quality of the tours from Nordic Visitor were so much better than what we booked on our own. We quickly regretted not working with you for our last minute additions.
Hanna was great to work with and very accommodating with our requests. We recommended Nordic Visitor to many people we chatted with on our trip. Thanks for a great trip.
